Pro tip: Listen to Everything
In a client brainstorming or briefing meeting it’s important to listen to EVERYTHING.
I always find golden ideas in their words.
Train your brain to listen as theclient might noteven know they’ve given you gold...
The other day I had a meeting with a coffee client. If you know me then you’ll know I was in good company… I LOVE coffee!
Amongst the plethora of gold from the client two fun phrases shot into my brain:
1. Tasting notes
2. The God shot*
*A unique espresso, which borders on perfection, as if it had been blessed by the gods.
Here’s my quick notes / thumbnails.
(I was listening and engaging in the meeting btw… Promise!)

Summary
It’s good practice in general to listen, even beyond client meetings. A chance conversation, lyrics, inspirational reels allfuel a lot of the personal work I post.
Train your brain to takenote as it can help with passion projects and most importantly client work too.
