Freelance life is not linear and sunburn in mid-April!

Freelance life is not linear
Sometimes freelancing is like following some impossible dance moves to a beat that keeps changing. The problem is you have to keep throwing shapes and keep in time and still know when to pivot and turn… Hell, I’m even doing the moonwalk at the moment to try and keep up with the beat.

That beat being making ends meet and being a profitable creative entity. I’m just blowing off steam here as I was told by my mortgage advisor today that I can’t get a mortgage for one reason or another. I won’t go into the details, but still I press on with a smile and keep on working.

My wally-tan inspiration style sheet!

Sunburn in mid-April
Almost every year, without fail, I get caught out by the sun. Never in mid-April though I don’t think. Clearly my British skin is no match for any sun at all regardless of the time of year. Still, it was nice spend a good amount of time on a lush Devon beach with the family.

Thanks for reading folks!
Pete :)
