Don’t Panic!
Hi folks… I hope you’ve been keeping well out there!? It's time for a recap, having been a month or two since I sent out anything. So, what have I been up to???
Switching back to Squarespace
I have been round in circles with website providers. From Squarespace to Wordpress and now back to Squarespace… ha! I initially switched over to Wordpress to save a few pennies but I didn’t get on with it as well as I thought I would. Turns out panicking about money and saving where I could led me to make some rash decisions. That includes setting up a Substack blog earlier in the year. Another rash decision. From now on I’ll be simply blogging and sending out newsletters from my own website. “Keep it simple stupid” is something I need to keep reminding myself of!
Business is blooming (at the moment)
Furthermore with Substack… I had written on a number of occasions there, about my worries of freelancing and a lack of steady commissions and income streams. It is unfortunately the nature of working for yourself. This is definitely something I have to remember. Business is however really blooming at the moment and I have some really exciting projects to share with you over the next couple of months. I feel blessed to have this steady spell of work and I am enjoying every minute of it. But as I have said before, income streams and commissions are often up and down in terms of frequency and that’s ok. It is after all the game I'm in!

My takeaway from the last few months is that it’s important not to panic and to try to have a broader open minded approach to life and work. Far out man, that’s deep! Ye maybe. I’m not sure I won’t have a wobble again but I’m going to try and keep the above words in mind going forward.
